Zombie Gnomes is a unique twist on the classic garden gnomes seen in yards across the world. The creators of the Zombie Gnomes, Chris and Jane, came to me a few months ago after gaining a nice niche in the creative artsy website of Etsy. They were doing well on there, but felt they needed to establish their brand further. We discussed their goals and decided to proceed with a branding package.

The main component of this package was the website, http://www.thezombiegnomes.com. They wanted it to reflect their theatrical side as well as accentuate the products and be able to list products on the site and make them available for purchase. I decided to use WordPress as the basis for their site because it’s by far the easiest CMS I have used and would recommend it to those just starting out. I recommended using a Grunge look to the site and ran with the idea from there.

The next major component of their brand package was photography. If they wanted to put their best foot forward, they would need some professional photos taken of their characters. With a bit of retouching, we ended up with photos like the one featured below. Click on this link to view the Facebook photo gallery.

The last part of the package focuses on getting the news out. This consisted of business cards and an email template design. We decided to continue the grunge feel from the site onto the business cards and for the email template to give the brand consistency that audiences desire.
